Willows FFA Chapter Winter Update

These young Honkers are taking their right to flight! The Willows FFA has been quite productive in this last month. Ranging from students receiving awards in competitions to a record number of members earning their State Degrees, I’d say we are successful!

At the beginning of the month, 4 eager members left for Red Bluff to attend the Superior Region MFE Conference. Andrea Boer, one of the attendees, states, “MFE taught me a lot about leadership in the many sessions we attended and it was an amazing experience. I encourage every sophomore to sign up for this Conference.” If you are looking for a way to get involved, it’s not too late! Sign up for MFE in your chapter; it has a great impact in your FFA life.

This month we also had a personal best of applicants qualify for their state degrees. The Willows FFA Chapter will be proud to witness so many of its members walk across the stage at Regional Meeting to accept their degrees.

This Friday, February 1st, the Willows FFA Chapter will be selling Pulled Pork Sandwiches as well. Come get your lunch at closed campus and support your local FFA!

We will also be looking forward to the annual FFA Week at our high school in the next couple weeks. The Willows FFA Chapter has big plans and extreme ideas to get our school connected this year!

Also State Convention is right around the corner, so students sign up! It is an amazing experience! If you are looking to become a leader and no longer a follower, this is the thing for you!

We will be donating to the Brad’s Easter Basket this Easter to help a family in our community that may not have everything that others do. So many in our community have donated to help us attend the many exciting activities that we are so privileged to have, why not return the favor and help those who are in need.

Help your community today. It’s simple and easy with a huge effect. The Willows FFA Chapter is.
