Templeton FFA Recognized as Top California Chapter

Templeton, California-December 12, 2011.  Templeton FFA was recently recognized in the California Association FFA Chapter of the Year report.  Templeton FFA was ranked 5th in the state of California based on a statistical analysis of American FFA Degree recipients, State FFA Degree recipients, State Proficiency Award winners, State Executive Committee participation, and State Career Development Event Champion teams.Templeton FFA Advisors Erin Thompson and Chris Hildebrand work diligently to provide a well rounded career technical education experience to their students.  The extensive work done outside of the regular classroom setting has earned their students national recognition in both FFA involvement and Supervised Agriculture Experience arenas.  Templeton FFA is proud to be the highest ranking department in San Luis Obispo County and in the South Coast Region FFA.FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
