Templeton, California-April 15, 2013.  Templeton FFA recently embarked upon its second annual soldier supply drive.  The drive titled “Hero Day” was a part of the Herobox.org program.  The chapter members were responsible for collecting supplies for soldiers stationed in Iraq.

Templeton FFA members brought in enough supplies to fill up 20 boxes with over 130 pounds of requested supplies.  Some students even chose to leave personal messages for our troops overseas.  This annual community service project has gained great student support within the chapter.  Templeton FFA looks forward to continuing to support the men and women in our armed services.

FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
