Through Templeton FFA's Winter Community Service, students were able to bring in a whopping total of 127 lightly used coats!
Templeton, California-December 16, 2011. Templeton FFA's Winter Community Service has indeed been very jolly and successful this season! Starting the month out with our Clothe the Needy Drive, students were able to bring in a whopping total of 127 lightly used coats!
Following the coat drive, the FFA held our annual Toys '4' Tots fundraiser, which ended this week. With the help of our members, Templeton FFA was able to collect 116 toys! Ending the season of giving, our students on the last day before winter break, stood in front of the school for an hour waving “Good Morning and Happy Holidays” to all cars that passed!
We are looking forward to our spring Adopt a Soldier Drive, and continuing to be a supportive presence in the community.
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agriculture education.
