Daylong event to address family forests

The March 23 Family Forest Expo will be a hands-on, interactive educational event for families who own forestland in Washington.



The expo, presented by Washington State University Extension, will include information on stewardship practices, advice from agency and natural resource professionals in meeting family goals, equipment displays and a resource center.



Early registration, before March 15, is $40 per family; afterward, $60. Lunch is an additional $10 each. The event will be at Green River Community College in Auburn.
