Templeton FFA Chapter Wins Sectional Award

TEMPLETON (October 15, 2012)-On October 13-14, 2012 FFA members from the Templeton FFA chapter attended a Regional Leadership where over 275 other students, all involved in the FFA, united at the 2012 South Coast Region FFA, Chapter Officer Leadership Conference in Hollister, California.

While in attendance, Templeton FFA was named the Sectional Chapter of the Year.  As well, members had the opportunity to attend several workshops and activities promoting making positive impacts on their communities and promoting agriculture literacy in their schools.

The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 540,379 student members in grades seven through 12 who belong to one of 7, 489 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
