Grain futures lower, pork prices higher

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was .03 cents lower at 6.5050 a bushel; December corn was .0475 cents lower at $4.8075 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.3625 a bushel; while November soybeans were .1075 cents lower at 12.9250 a bushel.

Beef prices were mostly mixed and pork prices higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was .12 cents lower at $1.2795 a pound; September feeder cattle was .05 cents higher at $1.5800 a pound; October lean hogs 0.38 higher at $.8685 a pound.
