Winery trade show moving to Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- One of the largest winery trade shows is moving to Virginia next year.

Gov. Bob McDonnell says the Wineries Unlimited trade show is relocating from Pennsylvania to Richmond in 2011. It is the second-largest vineyard and winery conference and trade show in North America.

The governor's office says the 2011 event is estimated to bring more than 2,000 visitors and $1.5 million in revenue to Virginia.

McDonnell says Virginia wines have seen their standing in the domestic and global marketplaces grow in recent years. He says the trade show will be a chance to showcase the state's wineries to people from across the country.
