McMorris Rodgers seeks leadership post

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- With Republicans taking control of the House of Representatives, U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., said she will run once again for a leadership post in the GOP.

McMorris Rodgers said Wednesday she will seek re-election as vice chair of the House Republican Conference.

She easily won election Tuesday to a fourth term in the House, beating Democrat Daryl Romeyn.
