Western Washington may have white Christmas

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) -- While snow on Christmas isn't unusual in Eastern Washington, the National Weather Service says residents of Western Washington may get a Christmas surprise this year.

The Daily Herald reports (http://is.gd/cYEuAO ) possible snow is forecast for much of Western Washington on Tuesday. The weather service says some areas could see several inches pile up. In other places, snow will be mixed with rain and temperatures will be too warm for any snow to accumulate.
