Pilot of crop duster dies in South Dakota crash
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- Two crop-spraying planes have crashed recently in South Dakota. The pilot of one of them was killed.
KGFX radio reports that the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are looking into a fatal crash near Highmore on Friday. The pilot has not been identified. The plane was registered to a Huron-based company.
Another crop duster crashed on Saturday near Faith. FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Cory says there was minor damage to the plane and the pilot was not injured.
