Idaho lumber mill damaged in fire

ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (AP) -- The cause of a fire that significantly damaged a lumber mill operation in southeastern Idaho remains under investigation.

The Willmore Lumber Company in St. Anthony says damage from the Sunday blaze could reach $1 million. The fire destroyed a building and planing mill operation, while also damaging another structure.

South Fremont Fire Chief Chris Hill says about 45 firefighters from three different agencies responded to the blaze, which was reported around 10:30 a.m. Hill says investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.

The Rexburg Standard Journal reports the Willmore Lumber Company plans to rebuild its operations.
