Grains futures mostly fall, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly fell Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 6.50 cents to $8.65 a bushel; December corn fell 5.25 cents to $7.53 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.6025 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 19 cents to $15.1150 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.53 cent to $1.2690 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.50 cent to $1.47 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.75 cent to 77.60 cents a pound.
