Compared to March 7 at the same market: Stocker steers and heifers less than 700 lbs., weak to $5 lower in a light test. Feeder cattle over 700 lbs., $2-3 higher in a light test. Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls $1-3 higher. Trade active with very good demand. Slaughter cows 55 percent, Slaughter bulls 20 percent, and feeders 25 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 43 percent heifers. Near 73 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
