Canby FFA members compete in Mt. Hood District ag sales contest.

The Mt. Hood District Ag Sales Contest was held at the Owen Saben Center on Saturday Nov. 23. Sixteen Canby FFA Members participated in the Contest.

Canby had three advanced teams. The team consisting of Rosie Ivanov, Chase Unger, Trevor Wood and Stephen Earl placed fourth, while the team of Collin Matthias, Ben Vandermolen, Caitlyn Tietz and Ashley Marks placed first, with Sandy FFA placing 2nd and North Clackamas FFA placing 3rd. High individuals were Chase Unger in 8th, Caitlyn Tietz in 4th, Ashley Marks in 2nd and Collin Matthias placed 1st.

The beginning team of Christina Gonzales, Brandon Tietz, Rachel McKenzie and Chad Tallan also placed first, with North Clackamas placing 2nd and Sandy FFA placing 3rd. High Individuals were Brandon Tietz in 5th and Rachel McKenzie placing in 1st.

The advanced team will be competing in the State Contest held in Madras on Dec. 14.
