NW Oregon facing coldest weather of autumn

Sub-freezing temperatiures are predicted Monday night for much of northwestern Oregon.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement warning of freezing conditions in northwest Oregon.

The service says the temperature should drop to between 30 and 35 degrees early Tuesday, and people in Eugene, McMinnville and the Hood River Valley might awaken to temperatures in the upper 20s.
