Weiser participates in Moscow AG Days

On the weekend of October 4-6 Weiser FFA chapter participated in an event held in Moscow, called “AG Days”.
Fourteen FFA students from Weiser went this year, and participated in many events while in Moscow.
Some of the events we participated in were Livestock Judging, Dairy Judging and many workshop that taught us new things about FFA.
Weiser placed 2nd overall in Livestock judging with the official team consisting of Baylie Kesler, Emily Gluch, Maggi Laan, and Clayton Lewis. Clayton Lewis was the 4th place individual overall for livestock judging.
Some workshops we participated in during this week was learning about the Birthing of Rainbow Trout, the Ruminant Digestive System, and how to judge Meats and Livestock.
On Saturday October 5th we had the opportunity to go to the Vandals vs. Fresno State football game. This was an amazing experience for everybody and we all got to experience many new things.
Coming up next for Weiser FFA will be Nationals in Indianapolis, Kentucky. We will have for 4 people from Weiser going to Indianapolis. Those 4 are, Kayla Wright, McKenzee Messick, Alex Mink, and Kyle Nesbitt.
