CDFA accepting applications to fill advisory board

The California Department of Food and Agriculture has announced a pair of openings on a state rendering industry advisory board.

SACRAMENTO — The California Department of Agriculture is seeking applications for two vacant positions on a rendering industry board by the end of October.

The board makes recommendations pertaining to the department's rendering program, which licenses and inspects facilities.

Board vacancies are for individuals representing licensed renderers, collection centers or registered movers of inedible kitchen grease. Terms are for three years.
