Domestic wool trading on a clean basis was slow this week. There were no confirmed sales and demand was moderate. The wool market has all but finished up for the year. Domestic wool trading on a greasy basis was slow this week. There were no confirmed sales.

Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to $10 lower. Slaughter ewes were steady to $11 lower, except at New Holland, Pa., $5-10 higher. Feeder lambs were steady to $10 higher. At San Angelo, Texas, 5,197 head sold in a one-day sale. No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes were mostly steady and feeder lambs were steady. 5,100 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were $1 to $2 higher and 10,381 head of formula sales of dressed lambs under 55 lbs. were not well tested; 55-65 lbs. were $2 higher; 65-75 lbs. were $3 to $4 lower; 75-85 lbs. were $3 to $4 lower; 85-95 lbs. were not well tested; over 95 lbs. were $3 to $4 lower. 5,425 lamb carcasses sold with 45 and down $2.52 lower; 45 to 55 lbs. $4.83 higher; 55-75 lbs. $.92 to $2.64 lower; and 85 lbs. and up $3.54 higher.

San Angelo: 40-60 lbs. $100-122; 60-70 lbs. $95-105, few $116-122; 70-80 lbs. $90-106, few $118; 80-90 lbs. $90-95, few 110; 90-110 lbs. $90-98.
DIRECT TRADING (Lambs with 3-4 percent shrink or equivalent):
5,100 Slaughter Lambs shorn and wooled 100-155 lbs. $108-138 (wtd avg $118.04);184 lbs. $114 (wtd avg $114); no dressed sales reported.
Idaho: 325 Slaughter Ewes 170-180 lbs. $28.
