National wool and sheep review

Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to 10.00 higher, except at San Angelo, Texas, where they were sharply lower in adjustment to several weeks of rain shortened supplies.

Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to 10.00 higher, except at San Angelo, Texas, where they were sharply lower in adjustment to several weeks of rain shortened supplies. Slaughter ewes

were uneven, mostly steady. Feeder lambs were steady to 9.00 higher.

At San Angelo, 4946 head sold. No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 2200 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were steady. 2,509 lamb carcasses sold with all weights no trend due to confidentiality. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
