Domestic wool trading on a clean basis was at a standstill this week. There were no confirmed trades reported. Domestic wool trading on a greasy basis was at a standstill this week. There were no confirmed trades reported.

Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs were mostly steady. Slaughter ewes were mostly steady to 10.00 lower, instances 4.00-8.00 higher. Feeder lambs were steady to 6.00 higher. At San Angelo, Texas, 5008 head sold. Equity Electronic Auction sold 335 slaughter lambs in North Dakota.

In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 3100 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were 2.00-3.00 lower. 2,621 lamb carcasses sold with all weights no trend due to confidentiality. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.

San Angelo: Shorn and wooled 100-155 lbs 120.00-128.00.

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date totaled 38,000 compared with 36,000 last week and 39,000 last year.
