Bids as of noon Pacific time; Subject to change Bids for grains delivered to Portland, Oregon, during July by unit trains and barges, in dollars per bushel, except oats and corn, in dollars per cwt. Bids for soft white wheat are for delivery periods as specified. Hard red winter wheat bids are for full July delivery, and dark northern spring wheat bids are split for July 3 to 10, July 11 to 20 and July 21 to 31. Bids for corn are for 30 day delivery.
July wheat futures closed 6.25 to 14 cents per bushel higher than Wednesday’s closes. September wheat futures trended four to 7.50 cents per bushel higher than Wednesday’s closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat delivered to Portland in unit trains and barges during July were four to 6.25 cents per bushel higher than Wednesday’s noon bids for the same delivery period. Higher Chicago July and September wheat futures supported bids. Some exporters are not issuing bids for nearby delivery.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for July delivery trended 5.50 cents per bushel higher than Wednesday’s noon bids for the same delivery period. Higher Kansas City September wheat futures supported cash bids. Some exporters are not issuing bids for nearby delivery.
Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for July delivery trended as follows: July 3 to 10, 7.50 to 28.50 cents higher, July 11 to 20, 7.50 to 18.50 cents higher and July 21 to 31, 7.50 to 8.50 cents per bushel higher compared to Wednesday’s noon bids for the same delivery periods. Higher Minneapolis July and September wheat futures supported cash bids. Most exporters are bidding over the September wheat futures. Some exporters are not issuing bids for nearby delivery.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland and the Yakima Valley were not available.
