Compared to May 2 at the same market: Stocker and feeder steers steady to firm, stocker and feeder heifers steady to $4 lower. Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls $1-4 higher. Trade very active with very good demand. Slaughter cows 52 percent, Slaughter bulls 10 percent, and feeders 38 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 38 percent steers and 62 percent heifers. Near 82 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
