Compared to July 5: Not enough stocker or feeder cattle last week for accurate market test, a steady undertone was noted. Trade active with good demand especially for small lots to fill pasture needs. Slaughter cows steady to weak. Slaughter bulls steady. Trade active with good demand. Slaughter cows 50 percent, slaughter bulls 10 percent, 20 percent replacement cows, and feeders 20 percent of the supply. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers and 47 percent heifers. Near 70 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
