Finally, our very own Mr. Shane Stevenson received his honorary State Degree, which is a high honor for individuals who have positively impacted Idaho FFA. The Meridian FFA Chapter also had three members run to be an Idaho FFA State Officer. Mallie Miller, Ellie Higgins, and Ashton Shaul all made it through the preliminary cut into the top 12 individuals, but none of them were elected as a State Officer. Every member who attended had an amazing time competing, participating, and learning at the 87thannual Idaho FFA State Leadership Conference, and we wish those competing at National Convention this fall the best of luck!

We would like to thank everyone at the state level that helped in putting on this event, as well as the award and scholarship sponsors. Most of all, we would like to thank the Meridian FFA Alumni for helping with our travel costs, our advisors for coaching each team, and Mr. Heikkila for driving the bus! The Meridian FFA Chapter had an unforgettable State Leadership Conference, and look forward to State Career Development Events in Moscow, Idaho this June.
