CHICO, Calif. — Early registration is being taken for a day-long seminar on organic and sustainable production to be held July 17.
The 8 a.m. workshop at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. will include talks on organic almond and rice production, organic fertilizers, bio-control of pests and the benefits of soil amendments and compost.
In addition, table-top exhibits will feature products and services for certified organic farming, according to an event flier.
