North coast grazing leases offered

The Wildlands Conservancy is seeking proposals from ranchers to lease grazing land in the Jenner Headlands Preserve on California's north coast.

JENNER, Calif. — The Wildlands Conservancy is seeking livestock grazing proposals from applicants to lease about 1,400 acres in the Jenner Headlands Preserve on California’s north coast.

Available land includes annual and perennial grasslands with smaller portions of woodland and coastal scrub rangeland as well as serpentine grasslands, according to a California Cattlemen’s Association newsletter.

Applicants are required to tour the property on May 28 and proposals will be due June 14, the newsletter advises.
