Chemical safety seminar set

Chemical control and worker safety will be among the topics covered at a seminar for pest control advisors and others on June 12 in Newark, Calif.

NEWARK, Calif. — Registration is being taken for a June 12 seminar here that will teach pest control advisers and others about such topics as chemical control and worker safety.

The California Association of Pest Control Advisors seminar at the Newark Pavilion will help advisers meet continuing education requirements for license renewal.

The 7:30 a.m. seminar will cover such issues as insect growth regulators, using new mobile technology for record-keeping of application sites and the nuisance that zebra and quagga mussels present to waterways, according to a meeting flier.
