Compared to last week slaughter lambs were $10-20 lower. Slaughter ewes were steady to $10 lower. Feeder lambs were not well tested, but a sharply lower undertone noted.

Compared to last week slaughter lambs were $10-20 lower. Slaughter ewes were steady to $10 lower. Feeder lambs were not well tested, but a sharply lower undertone noted. At San Angelo, Texas, 7,750 head sold in a one-day sale. No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes not tested; no comparison on feeder lambs. 5,900 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs under 170 lbs were $7-9 lower and 9,200 head of formula sales of carcasses under 65 lbs were not well tested; 65-95 lbs were $2-6 lower and over 95 lbs were sharply lower. 4,978 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down $22.22 lower; 45-55 lbs $.01 higher; 55-65 lbs $5.12 lower and 65 lbs and up $.96-1.33 lower.
